We are a small family business located in Calgary, Canada.
My love and passion for yarn, fiber and colour started at a very young age and has only progressed (or gotten worse - depending on who you ask) from knitting squares to knitting garments, socks and spinning. I am involved in the Master Spinning program at Olds College and love to share my spinning knowledge. Dyeing has taken over my imagination and my yarny dreams are more colourful every day.
My husband, Greg, is the brains behind our online store and is our resident IT guy. He is also very good at smiling and nodding as I squeal over the dye pots.
We have four sons who help in many ways in our Sea Turtle Fiber Arts world. Whether it is one of our three teenagers dragging boxes filled with yarn in and out of the house to our budding photographer, O-man, helping with stock shots.
Rosie is our company mascot and generally wants to make sure she is always in the way. While she likes to be involved, we don't allow her to play with yarn.
